What are we looking for?
We are looking for an ambitious and talented team member to join our BENELUX business unit, located in Amsterdam Noord.
Mission
As the centre for commercial operations and insights, you turn data into actionable insights, optimize processes from forecasts to orders, and provide tools that help the team make smarter, faster decisions. Your work directly drives growth, profitability, and efficiency across the business—making you an essential part of the team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Operations (50%)
a. Order management: Responsible for processing and validating customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. You maintain close contact with the logistics warehouse to coordinate order fulfilment, resolve issues, and ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
b. Forecasting and planning support: You support forecasting by defining baselines, recommending promotional uplift and forecasting new items. You incorporate seasonality into the forecasting tools and work closely with the factories in Italy and Spain to ensure sufficient inventory to meet the forecast.
2. Insights (50%)
a. You manage and connect multiple internal and external data sources to build and improve tools used across the business. You take ownership of these tools, translate data into clear insights, and find smart, creative ways to support better decision-making and business growth.
b. You analyze customer performance and market trends, turning volumes and profitability data into actionable insights. You support the commercial team in optimizing trade spend and promotional strategies.
c. You deliver ad hoc analyses for the commercial team, combining different data sources into clear, meaningful insights.
You will need:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Logistics, Finance, or a similar discipline
Experience
Proven ability to work with diverse data sources and strong analytical skills.
Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen) and A-brand companies in FMCG is a plus.
Highly skilled in a commercial mindset and understanding marketing and sales principles.
Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting methods.
Competencies
Effective written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
Process-oriented, fact-based, and a sense of urgency.
Quick learner with a proactive approach to applying new technologies.
Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced skills in Power BI preferred
