What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Staff Accountant with finance skills to join our Finance Team located at our offices in Dallas (US).

Mission

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and assisting with the month-end close process. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and distribute accounting closing calendar.
• Oversee the journal entry log to ensure completeness.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts for Deoleo USA and Deoleo Canada.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with tax compliance for Deoleo USA and Deoleo Canada.
• Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Participate in internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

You will need:

• Accounting Degree.
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Competent in writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP).
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
