What are we looking for?
We are looking for Data Excellence & Business Analytics Manager with technical skills and business vision to join our Global Business Development Team in our Headquarters (Madrid).
Mission
Put in place a state-of-the-art Data Analytics Department:
- Starting by building the right foundations and developing a clear roadmap to elevate the function.
- Develop the team to be able to work with autonomy (helping the countries, the marketing, and sales departments) elevating their skills.
- Automatize and introduce technology in existing tools
- From data crunching to insights generation. Extract value from data to support the business.
- Support Trade Marketing and RGM Function in their Global Mission of bringing to life a Trade marketing/RGM Global Plan.
- Developing simple in-house models and liaise with external parties to incorporate more complex ones (Pricing, ROI of promotions, etc)
- Support the Chief marketing Officer in reporting to COMEX and Board of Directors and ad hoc analysis to enable informed decisions.
Key Functions
- Lead the team (1 Marketing and Sales Business Partner, 1 Business Analytics, 1 Junior Assistant)
- Support M&S Business Partner to develop market and brand analysis for key stakeholders, assist in reporting to C- Suite and Board of Directors, lead market estimation models development, volume sales and SOM forecasts.
- Support Business Analytics resource to develop simple pricing models, Promotion, analysis, Portfolio Segmentations, Assortment Definition, etc,etc). Tools related to support Trade marketing and RGM teams.
- Co-work with Global TM and RGM Manager to bring to life the 3Y plan roadmap
- Work with external partners to define new tools, models and methodologies related with RGM and Trade Marketing
- Liaise with the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer in reporting, insights generation and business analysis.
- Orchestrate the work of the department to make sure we optimize the resources to assist the marketing and sales department with their requests
- Establish a collaborative approach, continuous improvement culture within the team
- Keep alive meaningful templates for QBRs, Mid-Year Reviews, Annual Business Planning
You will need
- University Education with Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Data Intelligence, Engineering or Mathematics.
- Proven expertise working for a FMCG global organization with at least 5 years of experience (or consulting these kind of organizations) in departments related to Data/Business Analytics and RGM /Trade Marketing
- Experience understanding pricing models, ROI of promotions, market and business analysis, customer segmentation models, Etc.
- Experience in Power BI, advanced Excel, basic programming even machine learning (desirable) to automatize reports and develop simple models, and extract value from data.
- Experience in leading small teams being able to develop them and generating a collaborative environment.
- Experience dealing with diverse (cross-cultural) teams in a matrix environment
- Experience functioning effectively in a senior-level environment, able to operate effectively with (senior) managers within the Company.
